After having gained information on film companies, I came up with 4 production names. I came up with Explosion Production as I was thinking of having a company specialising in action/thriller films. Paint Pictures was an company name I thought of because painting is an art and requires creativity same as creating films, therefore Paint Pictures could symbolise creativeness which is needed in productions of media products.
I handed out my questionnaire to 42 people aged 15-25, majority were aged 17-18. This was because I wanted to see what name appealed to them the most. The results clearly show Paint Pictures was most popular therefore that will be my production name.
After having found that paint pictures was the most popular company name that attracting the audience I decided to experiment on different types of logos for the company name.
After numerous trials the final product for the company logo is below. The logo was edited on Adobe After Effects as I thought it would look more professional and presentable, while also fitting the part to look good on the trailer. I made it by watching a YouTube tutorial which I will link below, it had splatter effects I needed to download in order to create the splatter of the paint
