Film Title (Captured)

Knowing the genre of my trailer and the story line I roughly wanted, I wanted to brainstorm ideas for what my film could be called. I wanted to ensure that the film titles I picked had relevance to the trailer and was able to give them an insight on what the film may be about, even if they had not seen the trailer. Below are the names I had come up with.

Having decided on the potential names of my film I wanted to hand out a questionnaire on what film title attracted their attention the most to ensure that I made sure I picked the most suitable and effective film title name that fitted well with the synopsis. In the questionnaire I had chosen 3 of my favourite film title names out of the ones I had brainstormed which were, Captured, Life-Line and Missing. I had handed my questionnaire to 20 people within my sixth form aged 15-40. Reason why I didn't give it to those under the age of 15 because they would not have been eligible to view my film regardless due to their age.

From the results it was very close between Captured and Missing and 1 vote between them but overall even with informal conversations I had with people, majority had preferred captured therefore I had decided to name my film 'Captured'.
