Film regulations - target audience

After gaining general research towards my trailer, I started to analyse and explore the regulations and target audiences towards. The British Body of Film Classification (BBFC) is known as an independent body which was set up in 1912. I had used the BBFC website to allow me to research and see the links between ages and content within trailers. Their website was very helpful by allowing me to conduct effective research. I came to a conclusion that my age rating would be 15+ due to what the BBFC had stated what would be suitable for a film with content of violence. Therefore my target audience would be to anyone over the age of 15 but the main target audience would be those aged 15-25. Below are some of the main points that I have put together using the BBFC guidelines in relation to my choice of age regulation.
